Assign a Quizizz Resource on Toddle via LTI as a Teacher

Once the Quizizz LTI tool is embedded with Toddle, you can easily assign interactive Quizizz resources to your students without leaving Toddle. This integration allows you to select Quizizz resources, set session preferences, and track student progress from your Toddle course page.

To be able to assign Quizizz to a Toddle course as a teacher, make sure that your administrator has completed the integration and that the Quizizz LTI tool is enabled for the required Toddle course. To do the latter:

1. Log into your Toddle account
2. Click on the drop-down menu in the top left corner, and select your program
   
   
   
   
3. Select the class you want to assign the Quizizz session to
4. Hover over the left navigation menu, then hover over the 'Classroom' option, then click on 'Assignments'
   
   
   
   
5. Once the Assignments page opens, click on the '+ Create new' button and then click on 'Assessment'
6. Now, enter the details of the assignment, such as name, duration, unit, term, description, etc.
7. Click on the add icon () next to the 'Submission template' option
8. Click on 'Add an external tool' and select 'Quizizz' 
   
   
   
   
9. Now, you may be prompted to sign in to your Quizizz account
10. Once you're signed in, select the Quizizz resource you want to assign to your students from your Library or explore millions of resources in the Explore section 
11. You can preview the selected resource or directly assign or start it
    1. Select ‘Assign’ to assign it as homework, or click on ‘Start’ to start it live 
    2. Set session preferences like a deadline, number of participant attempts, start and end times, Accommodation Profiles, etc.
12. Once you are done setting the session preferences, click on 'Assign' or 'Start' from the top right corner of your screen
13. You will now be redirected to your Toddle course page, and the Quizizz LTI session link will be included
    
    
    
    
14. Enter the remaining details, set the remaining preferences on Toddle, and then click on 'Assign' from the bottom right corner of your screen. Confirm the action by clicking on 'Assign' on the confirmation pop-up window

You have successfully assigned a Quizizz resource to a Toddle course via LTI! Your students can now participate in the Quizizz session directly from their Toddle course page. 

Note: This feature is currently only accessible using the Google Chrome browser. Support for other browsers is not available at the moment.
