Encourage your students to practice higher-order thinking, by creating the Drag and Drop, and Drop Down question types on Quizizz. Create a question, add the answer and select the answer that needs to be dragged and dropped into the blank on the students' view. You can also add up to 10 incorrect answers as options. When students see this question on their quiz, they will be able to drag and drop the correct answer into the blank. You can also have multiple blanks (up to 10) within the same question. You can also grade each blank answer accordingly. To know more about Flexible Grading, check this article.

With the Math Response question type, students can use the equation editor to input their answers in the form of numericals, fractions, expressions, or a single equation. Here are the various options available to them on the editor.
This question type recognizes that there are several ways of writing the same expression or equation. For instance, (x+y)(x-y) has the same value as x² - y². Mathematical Equivalence enables students to express the answer to a question in multiple correct ways.
With Mathematical Equivalence enabled, a student's response that is equivalent to your answer will also be marked as correct. For example, if you have entered 1.5 as the expected correct answer to your question, 1½ and 3/2 will also be recognized as correct responses in the reports. You can assign a scaled grade if required too.
Mathematical equivalence is enabled by default, and you can disable it by deselecting the checkbox. Note that points are not awarded for partially correct answers.

The Labeling question type enables your students to drag and drop text labels onto different parts of an image. Labeling is an auto-graded question type that is suitable for all subjects. But, it is especially useful for Science, Social Studies, and Math.
Begin by entering your question and selecting the image that needs to be labeled. Next, enter your label options and mark the correct one(s). Then, drag and drop the correct label options to their correct locations on the image.
You can add up to 10 label options and mark multiple options as correct. You can also add equations to the question and label options using the Equation Editor.

With Hotspot, students can select specific areas or regions on an image based on the question asked. Just like the Labeling question type, Hotspot is auto-graded and well-suited for visual learners and elementary students.
To use this question type, enter your question and select the image that is to be marked with hotspots. Next, choose between adding circular, rectangular, or freeform hotspots. The freeform hotspot enables you to mark a polygonal area of your choice.
Note that all hotspots for a given question must be of the same type. After marking a few hotspots, if you switch from one type of hotspot to the other -- for instance, from circle to rectangle -- you will have to begin marking them from scratch. You can add up to 10 hotspots and mark multiple hotspots as correct.
