Create Resources Using Existing Content from the Library

Access millions of publicly available resources (Assessments/Quizzes, Passages Lessons, etc.) created daily by the teacher community. You can use questions and slides from multiple resources and combine them with the content in your Assessment/Quiz. You can also teleport all the content from another resource to yours with just a single click.

In this article, we will learn the two ways you can teleport and incorporate content from publicly available resources into your own resources to save time and benefit from the dynamic and engaging content created by the amazing community of teachers on Quizizz.

Part 1: Combine questions or slides from another resource to yours

For resources like Assessments/Quizzes, Passages, and Interactive Videos:

1. Create a resource
   
   • If you have already created your resource, you can access it from the 'Library' section and edit the same
2. Click on the search bar and type the topic or subject name for the available resources tagged to the same topic or subject
3. Select a resource to preview its content
   1. Click on 'Add question' to import questions one by one into your resource
   2. Click on 'Add all questions' to bulk teleport all the questions with a single click
4. Customize or edit the questions as desired 
5. Once your resource is ready, hit 'Publish'

Your resource is now ready to be hosted live or assigned as homework.

For a lesson:

1. Create a lesson
   
   • If you have already created your lesson, you can access it from the 'Library' section and edit the same
2. Click on 'Add new slide' from the bottom left corner of your screen
3. Scroll up, and click on 'Search on teleport'
4. Select a lesson or an Assessment/Quiz to preview its content
   1. Click on 'Add slide' from a lesson or 'Add question' from an Assessment/Quiz to teleport content one by one into your resource
   2. You can also click on 'Add all slides' or 'Add all questions' to teleport all the content with a single click
5. Customize or edit the slides as desired 
6. Once your lesson is ready, click on 'Publish'. Your lesson is now ready to be hosted live or assigned as homework

Part 2: Quick Teleport questions & slides to create a resource on the spot

1. Click on the search bar on your Explore page and enter a topic of your choice
2. From the Quizizz Library, hover over a resource, and click on 'Add', 'Add slide', or 'Add all' to Quick Teleport questions, slides, etc., from an existing resource one by one or all at once
   1. You can filter the search results via grade, subject, language, question types, and number of questions
   2. You can also preview the hosting options of a resource by clicking on the 'Play' button from the top right corner
      
   3. Click on 'Preview' or 'Open in Editor' on the 'Quick Teleport' bar to view the saved content or make any edits
   4. Once you're happy with your resource,
      1. Click on 'Save quiz' or 'Save lesson' to save your resource on the 'Quick Teleport' bar or
      2. Hit 'Publish' on the top right corner if you're on the editor page
