Add students to a class using 

  1. Google Classroom
  2. Quizizz Class
  3. Schoology and Canvas (available for the School and District Plan

Add students to a class using Google Classroom

  1. Click on Classes from the main page on the left navigation pane
  2. Click on Google Classroom on the right top corner to import your classes
  3. Your students will be able to join a quiz (live or homework) by clicking the link on their Google Classroom feed. Grades will update automatically to Google Classroom
  4. You can also click the refresh list option on the right pane to refresh the classes and students rostered.

Add students to a Quizizz Class

  1. Click on Classes on the left navigation pane
  2. Click on Create a class on the top right corner
  3. Enter a class name and tag a class color code
  4. Check the box for Require students to enter a guardian's email address or uncheck if not required
  5. Once you click on Create class, a link is created. This link is shared with students to join this particular class
  6. A specific code is generated for the class that can be shared with students. All students can join the class via the Quizizz URL: https://quizizz.com/join/class and enter the code. This code is valid upto 14 days. In case new or additional students need to be added to the same class after 14 days, click on 'generate a new code'
  7. Once students have the link, they are prompted to log in to Quizizz (if not already done) and they accept the invite to join the class
  8. You can also click the Refresh List option on the right pane to refresh the classes and students rostered.

Once students access this link, you can: 

    1. Check the number of students who have joined the class, by clicking on the relevant class within Classes 
    2. Assign a live quiz or homework to this class

Add students to a Class using Schoology

  1. Click on Classes on the left navigation pane
  2. Click on Schoology on the top right corner (Login to Schoology with username and password)
  3. Select the correct course on Schoology to integrate with Quizizz 
  4. Click on the correct class (course on Schoology). Click Save. This imports all classes, courses and students
  5. Once students have the link, they are prompted to login to Quizizz (if not already done) and they accept the invite to join the class
  6. You can also click the Refresh List option on the right pane to refresh the classes and students rostered.

Once students access this link, you can: 

  1. Check the number of students who have joined the class, by clicking on the relevant class within Classes 
  2. Assign a quiz or homework to this class

Add students to a Class using Canvas

Prerequisite: The IT Administrator for your school or district needs to have connected Quizizz and Canvas with their Canvas Developer Keys. To learn more about this, click here

  1. Click on Classes from the left navigation pane
  2. Click on Canvas on the top right corner
  3. Select the classes you want to import
  4. Once the classes are imported, assign a quiz/lesson to this class. You can also click on the 'Pick specific students' option to assign the quiz to selected students
  5. Assign a deadline by choosing a custom deadline or no deadline
  6. Click on Assign
  7. The next screen shows you the classes integrated into Quizizz via Canvas
  8. Students can access all assignments posted on Canvas class via this integration
  9. Grades are updated automatically on Canvas after every attempt
  10. You can also click the Refresh List option on the right pane to refresh the classes and students rostered.

Assign a Quiz using Quizizz Classes

Prerequisite: Use readymade content from the Quizizz library or modify any content to mix and match questions and create your own quiz. You can also create a quiz from scratch using the quiz editor.

  1. Click on Host a live quiz or Assign as homework 
  2. Click on Select under the Assign to a class option
  3. Select the correct class. You can also click on the 'Pick specific students' option to assign the quiz to selected students
  4. Name the assignment, add a schedule and describe the assignment if required
  5.  Either choose the Now option or schedule a time as the deadline for the assignment
  6. Click on Assign. This enables you to assign and host a live quiz or set a deadline for the same assignment
  7. Confirm if the quiz or assignment went to the correct class or individual students in the next window
  8. End the assignment if required and share reports with parents/guardians
