How can I unblock the Quizizz for Google Slides add-on installation on teacher devices?

If teachers in your organization are unable to install the Quizizz for Google Slides add-on, it’s likely due to app settings that allow only specific apps from the Google Workspace Marketplace. This doesn’t mean the app is blocked; rather, it may need to be added to an allowlist to permit installation.

As an administrator, follow these steps to add Quizizz for Google Slides to the allowlist:

1. Go to admin.google.com and sign in with your Admin account
2. From the Admin Console Dashboard, click on 'Apps' in the left-hand menu
3. Under 'Apps', select 'Google Workspace Marketplace Apps' to view all apps available in your domain
4. Now, click on 'App List'
5. Click on 'Allowlist App'
   
   
   
   
6. In the allowlist options, there are three steps:
   • Select an App: Type ‘Quizizz for Google Slides’ in the search bar and select it. Then, click on ‘Continue’
   • Access Setting: Change the setting to ‘Allow users to install this app’
   • Select Users: Select ‘Everyone’ to allow all users to install the add-on or select ‘Specific groups or organizational units’ to restrict it to specific groups or organizational units (e.g., all teachers)
     
     
     
     
7. Finally, click on 'Finish' to save the changes

With these settings, the Quizizz for Google Slides add-on will now appear as an approved app, which will allow your teachers to install and use it on their devices without restrictions.
