Q. What happens if teacher email IDs in Schoology and Quizizz accounts differ?

A. Teachers must log in to Quizizz when opening the Quizizz LTI app from Schoology. This allows them to use their Quizizz accounts, which may be associated with different email addresses from those used in Schoology.

Q. How does Quizizz handle student logins from Schoology?

A. Quizizz creates accounts for students based on their unique LMS user IDs and does not rely on student emails provided by Schoology. This approach ensures student data privacy and provides a seamless login experience, which eliminates the need for explicit Single Sign-On (SSO) or additional onboarding steps.

Students can access the Quizizz accounts created via Schoology exclusively through Schoology LTI. This student profile remains consistent across all their Schoology courses. If a student is removed from Schoology, they will lose access to their Quizizz student account created via Schoology. Logging into Quizizz using another method will create a separate Quizizz account.

Q. How does this work with Accommodation Profiles?

A. When a teacher opens the Quizizz LTI app from a Schoology course, the class syncs on Quizizz. Teachers can set Accommodation Profiles for students either from their Classes page on Quizizz or while assigning an activity on Schoology.

Q. I accidentally deleted the Quizizz LTI app from Schoology. How do I add it again?

A. If you accidentally removed the Quizizz LTI app from Schoology, contact your Customer Success Manager and follow the steps outlined in this guide to complete the integration process.

Q. What should I do if my school has the existing (non-LTI) Schoology integration?

A. Administrators can add the LTI integration alongside the existing one. Classes synced through the non-LTI Schoology integration will continue to operate independently of those synced via LTI. Teachers can archive classes to manage any duplicates.
