Integrate Quizizz with Schoology via LTI as an Administrator

By integrating Quizizz with Schoology via LTI, students can participate in interactive Quizizz sessions directly within Schoology. Students can directly access Quizizz from Schoology, which helps them focus on their schoolwork instead of navigating different platforms. Additionally, teachers can assign Quizizz resources and monitor progress, all within the Schoology platform itself.

In this guide, you'll learn how to integrate the Quizizz LTI App in Schoology as an Administrator. 

Note:

1. This feature is available for users with Quizizz Schools & Districts Plans.
2. You need to have a System Administrator role in Schoology to complete the integration.

To integrate Quizizz LTI with Schoology, contact your Customer Success Manager, who will provide the required credentials for steps 14 to 18 below. Follow these steps to complete the integration: 

1. Log in to your Schoology account
2. Click on the App icon () from the top right side of your screen
3. Click on 'App Center'
4. Select 'My Developer Apps'
   
   
5. Click on the 'Add App' button
6. Enter the following information in the required fields as shown below:
   1. App name: Quizizz
   2. Description: Create and deliver instruction that’s relevant for every student right inside Schoology with the Quizizz LTI 1.3 App
   3. Category: Select all subjects
   4. Level: Select all the relevant grade levels
   5. Recommended for: Check () 'Instructors' and 'Admins'
   6. Available for: Select 'All Schoology users' from the drop-down options
      
      
      
      
   7. Ensure the 'This app uses cookies' setting is unchecked/unselected
   8. App Logo: Download this image and upload it from your device to use as the app logo
      
      
   9. Type of App: Select 'LTI 1.3 App' from the drop-down options and check () 'Launch app in Schoology'
   10. Can be installed for: Check () 'Course Material Selection' under the 'Courses' section
   11. Configuration type: Select 'Manual'
   12. Privacy: Select 'Send Name of user who launches the tool' from the drop-down options
   13. LTI Advantage Extensions: Check () all of the following
       • 'Deep linking',
       • Assignment and grade services', and
       • 'Names and roles services'
         
         
         
         
   14. Tool Public Key: Enter the Tool Public Key provided by your Customer Success Manager
   15. Domain URL: Enter the Domain URL provided by your Customer Success Manager
   16. Custom Parameters: Enter the credentials provided by your Customer Success Manager
   17. OIDC Login Init URL: Enter the URL provided by your Customer Success Manager
   18. Redirect URLs: Enter the URLs provided by your Customer Success Manager
   19. Check () 'Require System Administrators to configure settings for this App'
   20. Check () 'This application meets Schoology Terms of Use'
       
       
       
       
7. Once you've entered/selected the required credentials as mentioned above, click on 'Submit' 

The Quizizz LTI app will now be embedded into your Schoology account. To successfully install the app:

1. Click on the 'Install LTI 1.3 App' button
2. Read the terms and conditions, and click on 'I Agree'
3. Read the app authorization terms, and click on 'Continue'
4. Select 'Add to Organization'

Quizizz is successfully installed as an LTI app in your Schoology account! Once the integration is complete, teachers can assign Quizizz resources directly to their Schoology courses.

Important Note

Only teachers rostered on Quizizz as part of your Quizizz Schools & District plans can use the Quizizz–Schoology LTI integration. Teachers not rostered and attempting to link a Quizizz LTI resource in a Schoology course will receive a message prompting them to get rostered on the plan to access the Schoology integration.
