Q. What happens if teacher email IDs in Moodle and Quizizz accounts are different?

A. Teachers are required to log in directly to Quizizz via Moodle to access it. This allows them to use their Quizizz accounts, which may be associated with different email addresses from those used in Moodle.

Q. How does Quizizz handle student logins from Moodle?

A. Quizizz creates accounts for students based on their unique LMS user accounts and does not rely on student emails provided by Moodle. This approach ensures student data privacy and provides a seamless login experience, eliminating the need for explicit Single Sign-On (SSO) or additional onboarding steps.

Students can access the Quizizz accounts created via Moodle exclusively through Moodle LTI. This student profile remains consistent across all their Moodle courses. If a student is removed from Moodle, they will lose access to their Quizizz student account created via Moodle. Logging into Quizizz using another method will create a separate Quizizz account.

Q. How does this work with Accommodation Profiles?

A. When a teacher opens the Quizizz LTI app from a Moodle course, the class syncs on Quizizz. Teachers can set Accommodation Profiles for students either from their Classes page on Quizizz or while assigning a resource on Moodle.
