How to integrate Quizizz with MS Teams

For District Administrators

Simplify teaching and enhance collaboration by integrating Microsoft Teams with Quizizz! As a District Administrator, you can either initiate the integration yourself or approve a Teacher's request. This guide will walk you through the setup steps to ensure it's smooth. Once integrated, Teachers from your organization can effortlessly import MS Teams channels as Quizizz Classes and assign engaging activities to students with just a few clicks. 

You can integrate MS Teams with Quizizz in two ways:

1. Initiate integration directly via Quizizz
2. Approve the integration after your teacher initiates a request

Initiate integration directly via Quizizz

1. Log into your Quizizz account
2. Click on the 'Classes' tab on the left navigation pane
   
   
   
   
3. Choose MS Teams from under the ‘Import a new class from’ section
4. Select the account that has to be synced with MS Teams. Usually, this is your professional account linked with a school/ college/ district
5. You will now be prompted to grant permission to Quizizz
   
   
   
   
6. Enable the ‘Consent on behalf of your organization’ setting by clicking on the check box
7. Click on ‘Accept’ on the permissions pop-up window

Approve the integration after a Teacher initiates a request

If a Teacher from your organization tries to import a channel from MS Teams to Quizizz as a Class before you have initiated the integration, they will be asked to provide your email address and initiate an approval request.

You will then receive an email with instructions on how to approve the integration between MS Teams and Quizizz:

1. Go to your MS Entra Admin Center 
2. From the left navigation menu, click on ‘Applications’ and then select ‘Enterprise Applications’
3. From the given list of Enterprise Applications, select ‘Quizizz’. This will open the Quizizz overview page
   
   
   
   
4. Once the Quizizz overview page opens, go to ‘Security’ and click on ‘Permissions’ from the left-hand side of your screen
5. Click on the ‘Grant Admin consent for Quizizz’ button
6. This will prompt you to select or log in to your Microsoft Account, and a permissions pop-up window will appear on your screen asking you to grant permission to Quizizz
7. Click on ‘Accept’ on the permissions pop-up window
   
   

You have successfully set up integration between MS Teams and Quizizz! Now, Teachers from your organization can import their MS Teams channels as Classes on Quizizz and assign resources to students directly from Quizizz.
