Hosting a Lesson with improved themes and templates
The improved themes and templates on lessons further student interaction, learning and engagement along with quizzes and formative assessments.
To Create a Lesson, follow these steps:
- Click on the “Create” button on the left navigation pane
- Name and tag your lesson to move onto the editor page
(You can use a maximum of 3 tags per lesson) - Click on '+Add New Slide' to create a slide
- Select a slide type. Formats of slides supported on a Quizizz lesson are:
- Blank slides: Best suited for slides that are used in-between different topics
- Title: Best suited for presenting Titles and Topic
- Text: Best suited for text content
- Text and media: Best suited for a mix of text and media content
- Fullscreen media: Best suited for multimedia content that requires a full-screen attention
- Webpage link: Best suited for links (to reach another site)
- Blank slides: Best suited for slides that are used in-between different topics
- Add questions within lessons (all question formats available on quiz editor are available on lessons too)
- Draw
- Fill-in-the-blanks
- Multiple-choice questions
- Open-ended
- Polls
- Select a slide type. Formats of slides supported on a Quizizz lesson are:
- Click on Import to import a PDF, PowerPoint (PPT) and Google Slides into a Quizizz lesson
However, you will not be able to edit them once they're uploaded onto your Quizizz lesson - You can add text, media, shapes, and numbers into every slide
- Once you complete creating a lesson, save it to your library
- You can now host this lesson live or assign it as homework
Your students can join a live or homework lesson using an active joinmyquiz.com link and code.
