Host Quizizz Sessions and Challenge Your Friends as Students

For Students

The 'Challenge Friends' feature on Quizizz makes learning fun and engaging. Use it to challenge your friends to play exciting games and activities. Follow this guide to get started.

1. Log in to your Quizizz account and go to your Quizizz dashboard
2. Select the desired quiz to challenge your friends. You can,
   • Scroll down your dashboard to find quizzes, or
   • Use the search bar on the top left corner of your screen to search for quizzes on your desired topic, or
   • Create your own quiz
3. Click on the 'Challenge Friends' button after selecting the quiz
4. Enter your name and click on 'Start'
   
   
   
   
5. Once you enter your name, a join code will be generated. Share this code with your friends so they can join the session
6. Wait for all participants to join the session
7. When everyone is ready, hit the 'Start' button to begin the session and enjoy the exciting race to the finish line!

The biggest difference between a teacher-hosted quiz and a student-hosted challenge is that the student hosting the quiz gets to play it, too. Once the game begins, the experience is similar to a classic Quizizz session played in the classroom. 

Students see a live dashboard with their score and rank in the game as they wait for other players to complete it. At the end of each game, the player with the highest score is revealed.
