Creating questions can be time-consuming, but with Quizizz AI, generating questions from a text or prompt is a breeze! This feature allows you to quickly create engaging Assessments/Quizzes tailored to your students’ specific needs by simply entering a prompt or text. Quizizz AI handles the rest and generates questions that align with your chosen standards, desired depth of knowledge, and more.

Steps to generate questions from a text or prompt

1. Select 'Generate with AI' from the creation lobby
2. Go to the 'Text/Prompt' tab
3. In the text box, enter the topic, a prompt, or any content to generate questions from
4. Set preferences by the number of questions, grade, subject, standards alignment, and depth of knowledge
5. Click on 'Continue'
6. Select any subtopics that are relevant to you from the suggestions that turn up, or add your own
   • This helps with customizing the assessment and making it more specific to your needs
7. Click on 'Generate quiz'
   
   
   
   
8. Once the questions are generated,
   • You can click on 'Regenerate with changes' to make changes to the content with the help of AI. Once you're happy with the regenerated results, select 'Continue to editor', or
     
     
     
     
   • You can click on 'Continue to editor' directly to modify questions yourself, change the question types, add or delete answer options, add images, videos, audio clips, etc.
9. Once satisfied with the questions, click 'Publish' at the top right to save and host your Assessment/Quiz or assign it as homework

When using Quizizz AI to generate questions from a text or prompt, you can pick the DoK levels you aim for. Quizizz AI will then tailor the questions to match, making it a breeze to focus on just the right level of challenge.
