Roster Teachers & Staff on Quizizz via ClassLink as an Administrator

As a District Administrator, you can import teachers and staff rosters from your school district into your Quizizz Plan via ClassLink. This allows Quizizz to automatically and regularly synchronize these rosters, saving time, reducing errors, and enhancing security. This article will outline the steps for integrating with the Quizizz Rostering App on your ClassLink Portal and explain how to initiate ClassLink rostering on Quizizz to complete the process.

Step 1: Integrate with the Quizizz Rostering App on ClassLink

Note: Your School District needs to have both integrations — the Quizizz app (ClassLink SSO) and the Quizizz Rostering app — on ClassLink. Follow the steps below for both:

  1. Log into your ClassLink Launchpad
  2. Click on the three-line icon () from the top left corner and click on 'Roster Server'
    • This will open your ClassLink Roster Server Console
  3. Click on 'Apps' from the top bar, and then click on the '+ Add' button from the right side of your screen
  4. On the search bar, type 'Quizizz Rostering'
  5. Click on the '+ Add' button
  6. Select the relevant permission type
    • School Districts on the Quizizz District plan are recommended to select 'Full Permissions'
    • Others can select 'Rule-Based Permissions' and share only with the relevant users
  7. Go back to your Apps dashboard and click on the toggle next to Quizizz Rostering to Enable the integration
  8. You can also check the data sharing with Quizizz by clicking on the Sanity Check button () on the right side
  9. You can then proceed to initiate rostering on Quizizz

Step 2: Initiate ClassLink rostering on Quizizz

After you finish Step 1, contact your Customer Success Manager to start the rostering process on Quizizz.

  • The rostering will begin once your Customer Success Manager has configured your organization's ClassLink for your Quizizz account
  • The time it takes to complete the rostering process may vary, depending on the size of your school district, but it could take up to a couple of hours

You can keep track of the rostering status from the Roster Members page.

Once rostering is complete, you will be notified by email. Then, you can view your rostered teachers and staff on the Manage Members page on Quizizz.
