What are Common Assessments?

Common Assessments are standardized formative assessments that can be uniformly administered to all students within a specific grade level or course across an entire school district. In essence, they provide useful insights into overall student understanding and progress, regardless of the school or teacher administering them.
This feature offers a streamlined approach to creating, distributing, and evaluating these assessments. It also allows administrators and teachers to collaboratively design assessments aligned with district or school standards.

How does this feature work?

Common Assessments follow this sequence:

1. An administrator creates and schedules a Common Assessment, then shares it with their team of teachers and in their district
2. A teacher administers the prescribed Common Assessment to their class during the scheduled time
3. Students participate in the teacher-facilitated Common Assessment
4. 48 hours after the Common Assessment ends, the administrator can access its reports and results
