Common Assessments on Quizizz help you analyze students’ proficiency in standards at the class, school, and district levels—all within the engaging Quizizz environment. Admins can now seamlessly administer standard-aligned assessments across your school district on Quizizz. Quizizz also enables your students to showcase their understanding with various higher-order thinking question types.

What are Common Assessments?

Common Assessments are collaboratively designed by a team of teachers, and administered to all students in a grade level and course, periodically across the school year. It helps monitor student proficiency across the school district closely, and to make necessary adjustments in teaching quickly to help teachers and students meet standards.

How does this feature work?

Common Assessments follow this sequence:

  1. An administrator creates a Common Assessment and shares it with their team of teachers in their district
  2. A teacher administers the prescribed Common Assessment to their class during the scheduled time
  3. Students participate in the teacher-facilitated Common Assessment
  4. 48 hours after the Common Assessment ends, the administrator can access its reports and results
