Rostering on Quizizz via Clever: An Overview

The Clever Rostering feature on Quizizz enables secure and automated rostering for School Districts, empowering District Administrators to save time, reduce errors, and enhance security, all while making it easy to integrate Quizizz into a curriculum. 

Rostering via Clever 

District Administrators can now automatically sync teacher, staff, and student rosters on Quizizz via Clever instead of manually updating rosters like before.

The integration syncs nightly, and Quizizz rosters will mirror the records on Clever. This means that user accounts in your school district's Quizizz organization are added or removed every night if they are added or removed from Clever.

Import Classes via Clever from your SIS

Teachers can import Clever classes into Quizizz, which automatically manages teacher and student associations via Clever sync. 

They can choose to accept or decline Clever-synced classes. Additionally, if co-teachers are present in Clever classes, the integration will automatically add them to the imported classes on Quizizz. 

Note that Clever Class does not support grade sync. Teachers can alternatively import classes from a learning management system (LMS) such as Google Classroom, Canvas, or Schoology, to sync grades from a class-assigned activity.

Note that the integration doesn’t

  • Delete existing users on Quizizz added via other methods
  • Modify or delete existing classes in Quizizz added via other methods

Prerequisites for the integration

All students, teachers, and staff in a school district must have email addresses in their Clever accounts. Data records with missing email addresses on Clever will be filtered out. Administrators can view these records in their Data Errors view on Clever.
