Import PDFs from Device to Quizizz Lessons

PDF files saved locally on your device can now be imported as Lessons into Quizizz. You can either import these files individually into your Lesson editor or import them in bulk into your library to save time and consolidate all your tools.

1. To import a single PDF from your device into your Lesson editor, follow these steps.
   

   1. Click on 'Create' on the left navigation pane and choose 'Lesson' 
   2. Select the 'Import Slides from Google Drive' option 
   3. Click on 'Upload a PDF file' and choose the file you want to import 
      
      
      
      
   4. Review the selected slides and click on 'Import'
   5. Choose between importing these slides as editable or uneditable slides 
      1. Editable Slides: This option allows you to edit the text and images on your slides
      2. Uneditable Slides: This option will import your slides as static images, and you will not be able to edit them
         
         
         
         
   6.  Once you have added all the slides you need, click on 'Save' at the top-right corner
   7. Give your lesson a name, add a cover image, and select the appropriate subject, grade, and visibility status

   You can now find this lesson under 'My Library'.

2. To bulk import PDFs from your device into your library, you can follow one of two methods.

   Import via the 'Create' option 

   1. Click on 'Create' on the left navigation pane and select ‘Google Slides’ at the bottom of the screen
   2. Click on 'Upload a PDF file' and select the files you want to upload
      
      
      
      
   3. Choose between importing these slides as editable or uneditable slides 
      1. Editable Slides: This option allows you to edit the text and images on your slides
      2. Uneditable Slides: This option will import your slides as static images, and you will not be able to edit them
         
         
         
         
   4. Choose the correct account to sync with Quizizz
      
      
      
      
   5. Review the list of permissions required and click on 'Allow' to sync Quizizz with Google Drive (this is a one-time process)
      
      
      
      
   6. Your files will be imported in the background
   7. Once the import is complete, you will be able to find them in 'My Library' under the 'Imported' tab 

   Import via 'My Library'

   1. Click on 'My Library' on the left navigation pane and select the 'Imported' tab 
   2. Click on 'Import slides from Google Drive' 
   3. Select the 'Upload a PDF file' option and choose the files you want to import 
      
      
      
      
   4. Choose between importing these slides as editable or uneditable slides 
      1. Editable Slides: This option allows you to edit the text and images on your slides
      2. Uneditable Slides: This option will import your slides as static images, and you will not be able to edit them
         
         
         
         
   5. Choose the correct account to sync with Quizizz

   Your files will be imported in the background and will be found under the 'Imported' tab of 'My Library'.

While importing your files, if you chose the 'Editable slides' option and would like to make changes to your slides, follow these steps.

1. Open the imported lesson you wish to edit 
2. Click on the element you would like to change 
3. Click on the lock symbol next to the element to access your editing options 
   1. Options for images: delete, crop, duplicate, replace 
   2. Options for text: delete, duplicate, edit 
4. Once you have finished editing an element, you can click on the lock symbol again to prevent further edits
